It is a pleasure to go the other way and hide in the tall Silvergrass in the childhood. Such way of spending the rest of the day and enjoying the quality time of solitude is no doubt indulgent! Staring the sky as well as letting the mind float with the wind and dance with the clouds is one of the favorite things to empty oneself and let the imagination fly. The beauty of simplicity in the childhood is captured and treasured with the portrayal of such carefree image.
It is shivering chill even at the end of the winter. Yet, children, born with the exuberant energy, never show a slight trace of shrink or retreat in such a cold weather. Despite a running nose, the eyes of the child that longs for the exploration of the world glisten with the hope as well as the expectation for the coming spring.
There is a virtual space for the mind to rest somewhere in everyone’s heart. It is a haven that allows you to indulge, space out, and rebel or a sanctuary to put your overwhelmed body and mind at ease. Perhaps, it is a pure land that invites or summons you in the middle of the night to return to the realm of the carefree innocence in your childhood. Allowing oneself to liberate as well as balance physically and mentally amidst the hustle and bustle for fame and wealth, that is my dreamland!
At a corner of a beach full of pebbles nearby the hometown, the shadows of branches dance to the concerto of the sun and the ocean breeze. Sometimes it is blurring; other times, it is vividly full of clarity. The bushes at the side, while dancing dynamically, conduct the falling leaves to dance along as well. Such an ordinary corner familiar to the eyes it is – an opus of traveler and his home, woven by the light and shade.
