臺灣師大美術研究所碩士。現為中華亞太水彩藝術協會副理事長、台灣國際水彩協會副理事長、玄奘大學助理教授及國父紀念館、中正紀念堂終身學習班教師。
曾獲全省美展省政府獎、台南市獎、全國美展水彩優選獎、教育部文藝創作佳作獎、中國第
十一屆全國美展港澳台展區優秀獎、中國文藝協會52屆文藝獎章。曾任全國美展、高雄市美展、
北美展、大墩美展、南投玉山獎、苗栗美展、台東美展、新竹竹塹美展、彰化磺溪美展評審委員。
With an M.A. from the Institute of Fine Arts, NTNU, Tun-Piao Hung is the incumbent Vice Chairperson of the Chinese Asia-Pacific Watercolor Association, the Vice Chairperson of the Taiwan International Watercolor Society, the Assistant Professor of Hsuan Chuang University, and the teacher of Lifelong Learning Programs of Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
The artist has been awardedwithProvincial Award of Taiwan Fine Art Exhibition, Award of Tainan City, Quality Award in Watercolor Painting of National Art Exhibition, Honorable Mention of Literary and Artistic Creation Award, Ministry of Education, the Outstanding Award of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Section in the 11thNational Art Exhibition, P.R.C., and the 52nd Chinese Literary &Art Medal, Chinese Writer's & Artist's Association. Hung used to serve as the jury member to the National Art Exhibition, the Kaohsiung Art Exhibition, the Taipei Art Exhibition, Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition, Nantou Yushan Award, the Miaoli Art Exhibition, Taitung Art Exhibition, Hsinchu Chu-Qien Art Exhibition,andChanghua Huang-Xi Art Exhibition.
